This is a simple component with 6 noiseTOPs stitched together to form a cube in "noise-space", where each face takes a 2D sample. The resulting cube map is projected to equirectangular.
It supports 4D translation and 2D rotation*, and all the noise parameters except for period. It can be applied to spherical objects as a seamless texture, used as an environment map, or for anything else involving cube maps or equirectangular textures. RGBA works too!
*All three axes, only two at a time. Not sure why. Let me know if you figure it out.
